Mr. Ramirez serves as the Director of Operations and Sales for RadSite. He is responsible for general operations, strategic marketing, driving sales nationally and establishing key business relationships.
Prior to joining RadSite, Mr. Ramirez worked in Alzheimer’s research for Avid Radiopharmaceutials Inc. Mr. Ramirez’s has hands-on experience in drug development and imaging core lab environments. He was involved in all stages from the first human study to filing an NDA submission from preclinical trial through phase I-III and participated in the approval of Amyvid from 2008-2012, which was a novel PET imaging agent in the detection of β amyloid, and is critical to the detection of Alzheimer’s disease. In his role at Avid Radiopharmaceuticals, his responsibilities included overseeing the collection of PET imaging data on a national level and international level from PET, PET/CT, PET/MRI cameras of equipment manufacturers.
In addition, Jonathan worked with a leading Oncology visualization company, Intrasense, using CT technology as a sales specialist.
Mr. Ramirez earned his B.S. in Radiological Sciences from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He is a licensed technologist of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with certifications in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) and brings 10 years’ experience to RadSite.
